New in box inlet duct adapter for Rheem hybrid water heater. Made by Protech for Rheem to properly fit your Rheem, Ruud, and Richmond hybrid hot water heaters (all made by Rheem). If your water heater looks like the one shown with the yellow background, this inlet duct adapter is the correct one.
This inlet duct adapter attaches to the air inlet area on the top of your water heater and connect 8 inch ducting (not included) to draw air from another room/location so it operates more efficiently .The warmer the air it draws in the more efficient it will operate which is why you may need to draw in and/or expel air from a different location than where the heater is installed..
Comes with 5 self tapping screws and installation instructions (all shown in the main pic).
